FOICR Fall Blood drive

When: From 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, October 14th 2017

Friends of India in Cedar Rapids (FOICR) since 2012 has hosted 11 blood drives with Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC). Over that period of time FOICR donors have donated a total of 127 units of blood. Since each unit can be processed into four separate blood products that can go to four different patients FOICR donors have helped up to 508 patients in local hospitals. This is a huge contribution to MVRBC’s mission to maintain a steady blood supply in our community’s medical facilities.

This noble cause has greatly helped to save many lives and it is great opportunity for our community members to continue that tradition.
